BUSHMAN STORES. HISTORY AND DESIGN

Opening the first BUSHMAN store was likewise the realization of the company’s own concepts, criteria and rules for its look, contents and atmosphere. We literally used natural materials from the ceiling to the floor for the interior. Each store was in its own way a tailor-made original, including the furnishings, which reminded us of solitary pieces of furniture rather than just racks and stands. We used warm interior shades of colours and their contrasts, and opted to decorate the walls with natural or aboriginal motifs. The overall atmosphere of the store was slightly colonial in style.

The composition of stock, the display and exhibition of goods, and above all, the approach to customers also had their own strict rules which we gradually tried to improve.

At the beginning of expansion, this style proved to be the winner; it was unique, original and had character.

Nevertheless, with the increasing number of models, extended by the ladies’ collection and collection of accessories, it became less and less adequate in terms of space and function.

Therefore, we prepared a completely new concept of store design. The interiors are once again created from natural materials to the maximum extent possible extent, dominated by wood, from which all of the furniture is made. A characteristic and hard-to-miss element is the use of corroded, wavy sheet metal, which unifies the entire concept and gives it a touch of originality.

Thus the main change is the authentic perception of the functions of the furniture and design, its high flexibility, contrasting surface colour treatment, which enables the displayed goods, products and accessories of each collection stand out. The overall atmosphere is completed by large scale picture panels with photographs of nature.

Thus BUSHMAN has found a new look for its identity while maintaining all of its fundamental rules.
